Sailors and Bearded Ladies

Since moving to Georgia I have been tattooed at several shops from Decatur to Savannah. From the moment I set foot in Ink & Dagger I knew I was in for a treat. I had seen Russ Abbott's work on some friends of mine and had been eagerly anticipating my first (of what would become many) tattoos by him. While some shops boast the charm of a skid row dialysis clinic or 24-hour check cashing spot, Ink & Dagger feels more like a turn of the century pharmacy or Nickel and Dime. With an exterior clad in beautiful wood details and a waiting area adorned with the expected display of flash alongside rogue-taxidermy, walking into this shop is like taking a step back in time to the days when tattoo shops catered to sailors and bearded women. This attention to detail and aesthetic manifests itself in the work of both the shop's resident artists as well as those who travel from around the country to fill guest spots here. To date I have been tattooed here four times and am already planning my next session. If you are even considering getting a tattoo there is no better place to go in the Atlanta area. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and immaculately clean, and the work - both on display and to be had - is awe-inspiring. DO not miss out on this hidden gem in Decatur.

Pleasantly Surprised

I must say - I have had some AWFUL experiences with bike shop employees in the past and was somwhat apprehensive about OUtback given that I had heard some not-so-sweet comments made about the place. However, I must say my experience was quite the contrary. The staff was extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. I love my bike and am very pleased with the lifetime maintenance guarantee as well. Defintitely two thumbs up!!!

Property virgins, take notice!

Kerry was a first time-home buyer's dream come true. At no time did Kerry ever pressure us or try to impose her opinions on us. Her schedule was always open to us, even meeting with us on a sunday afternoon to show us a place we had found online, ourselves, that very morning. I would highly recommend Kerry to ANYONE and only hope that we can somehow return the favor she imparted on us with her wealth of knowledge, caring, professionalism, and great service.
