It's Magic

Well - we were going to wait at least a week after Kate (our German Shorthaired Pointer) had returned home from her month long training with Kristie before writing a review. However, we decided we needed to let folks know as soon as possible about the "magic" Kristie worked on Kate. Walks through the neighborhood are now a joy, rather than hard work. Not only does Kate stay by our side (on leash - but totally slack) - but she stays there even when tempted by distractions - such as the bunny who went hopping by. Going in the backyard or for walks along our green space - with no leash - perfect! In the house - she's calm - and greets my hubby when he comes home with enthusiasm - but no jumping or peeing. Next test was having our daughter and family for dinner. They received a nice greeting from Kate - and she laid by my side while we ate dinner (even though our 18 month old grandson tempted her with tasty tidbits that "fell" from his highchair. Every day we are so amazed - we can't help but wonder when this "magic pill" is going to wear off. But - we know it won't - as long as we keep up the good work that Kristie started.
